What is a Catch-all email account?

The facility 'Catch-all' means that if you are sent an email with a name before your domain name that you have not specified in your email set up, such as:

random_name@mydomainname

These Email's will be caught and put into the 'Catch-all' mailbox so that the Email will not be lost. This is particularly useful when somebody has sent you an Email and misspelled your name. As an additional feature you are able to change the 'Catch-all' address to any email address that you desire to use.
